Your data

This app is for getting to know your baby’s patterns. It isn’t a medical monitor. If you ever feel your baby is moving less than usual, or the pattern changes, contact your midwife or maternity unit straight away. Don’t wait until the next day.

Add a missed movement

Log without opening the app

Opening this link logs a movement straight away:

Add =kick, =roll, =hiccups or =gentle to the end to tag it too.

  1. Open the Shortcuts app, tap +, then Add Action. Search for Open URLs and paste the link. Name the shortcut Baby moved.
  2. Go to Settings → Accessibility → Touch → Back Tap → Double Tap and choose Baby moved. Double-tapping the back of the phone now logs a movement.
  3. Optional, on iPhone 15 Pro or later: Settings → Action Button → Shortcut → Baby moved.
  4. Optional: Settings → Apps → Safari → Close Tabs → After One Day, so Safari tabs from the shortcut don’t pile up.
Important on iPhone: shortcuts open the link in Safari. The Home Screen icon must also open in Safari, or the two will keep separate logs. When adding to the Home Screen, turn Open as Web App off. (If the icon is already added, delete it and add it again.)

10-second test: run the shortcut, then open the app from the Home Screen. Today’s count should have gone up by one.
